Cars...

Hi all -
Sorry I didn't post yesterday. We are not getting on the internet everyday as the wireless still is not working. We had a IT guy come and look at it and he deducted that it is not working and to try later (thanks!). I think we might try it out in the White Rabbit. Another couple said that is the only room that it works in for them. So tomorrow we will try it. Anyway, things here are going well. Vladimir and Alexei are enjoying the love and attention and food! Today, we got up and watched some cartoons, had breakfast (cereal - honey nut cheerios - they adored), played cars and pirates on the floor, got dressed, went for a walk past all the huge mansions. We can't believe all the huge houses that surround our hotel. It seems like a little "orange county" Vladivostok style. They have huge brass gates and fences with security. Today on our walk we saw a cute little dog - Alexei and Vlady stop for two things - dogs and trains! Tomorrow, we are going to go sit down at the train stop and watch the trains go by. We came back and had lunch, soup and goldfish crackers, then we played ball and then we put them down for a nap. They woke up and we watched some cartoons and soccer. They love to watch sports. If we are flipping through the stations to find a cartoon and they see a rugby, or soccer match or even skiing they say STOP - moshini (means men) moshini and we watch. Then we went up to the White Rabbit and talked to one couple fr Chicago with a little boy who's 5 and our friend Valerie. Tomorrow we are meeting at 4 in the White Rabbit for a 1st birthday party for her son. She is getting ice cream and we said we would bring cookies. We then came back down and had dinner, pierogies (with meat - the boys love them) and Rich and I had cheese ravioli, mashed potatoes and peas. Before I forget again, THANK YOU Katie, Sam and Anastiya for the leftover groceries and the wireless minutes!!! That was so nice of you to leave it for us. I'm glad that you made it home safely. Email me and let me know how the trip back went for you. I know you are just getting adjust back to life at home so whenever you get around to it is good! Your dogs/cats must be so happy to have you back. After dinner we had a bath. They love to get a bath. They run in and strip down and are trying to get in the tub even before the water is ready. They love to play in there together. Then we watched the movie Cars. So Vladimir and Alexei now know the movie and love it. They keep wanting to watch it. Most of the clothes they have are from the movie and they keep pointing to the car on their shirt, or their pants, shoes, etc. It's cute. I have to say out of everything we've brought for them they absolutely love their sunglasses. They take them to bed even and wear them. Vladimir pretends to read a book and Alexei looks on in his sunglasses. They talk back and forth to each other. We video taped it last night so that we can get it translated one day to find out what they were saying. Vladimir loves to see how far he can push Rich and I and he will try to get his way and so, yes, we have had our share of tantrums. He seems to be learning though. One day, Vladimir will understand that he is playing with the best of the best, Rich!! Barbara Dawson and Oralingua have honed his skills where he is unmatched! : ) Okay, off to bed. Rich and I usually had a Reese peanut butter cup before bed, it's kind of like our "glass of wine" ! As always, love you all so much, Jayne, Rich, Vlady, Alex, Jots!
