Hello everyone,
The second to last night and we are on our plane back home!!! We said good-bye to five families today. It was nice having them here during our stay, and hard to say good-bye knowing we have two more days. Today was another beautiful day. We walked to the beach and collected shells. The boys really enjoyed it. They would shuffle through the shells, pick a few and stick them into their jacket pockets. We took them out and soaked them in water and we will take them home with us. The boys are really beginning to listen better. They would walk a little distance away from us while looking for shells, but when we called their name they turned around and came back. Hopefully the weather will be nice for the next couple of days because it is a wonderful walk to the sea and then to play and search for shells in the sand. Tomorrow is a holiday here, it is May Day, and there will probably be many people at the beach tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow after our afternoon walk and dinner we will probably start getting things ready to pack; I really can’t believe we are almost leaving. After our walk this afternoon we went to the restaurant here at the hotel, the boys had a wonderful time. Actually I have to admit they were the best behaved children at the restaurant, yes there were other children. Most families let their children run around, back and forth from their table to a little play room, maybe outside and then again to the table. Vlady and Alex wanted to get up and play but we told them they had to stay seated at the table and they did, we were very proud of them. We ordered quickly and bread was brought to the table. This is a life saver because the boys love bread and they sat quietly and ate all of the bread as if they had not eaten in many days. They also ate some of our salads, and had mashed potatoes and pasta, they have very good appetites, I think they both must have gained at least five pounds. Well we are off to bed; hopefully the boys will sleep well tonight. We will post more pictures tomorrow and give you one last update. We love you all, Rich, Jayne, Vlady, Alex, Jotsi

You made it! How great. After a streak of near-100 degree days, it is gloomy and cold here now. However, it looks like it's going to be perfect this weekend and early next week. Hooray!
It has been so great hearing your stories and seeing the pictures of Vladovostok. Thank you both for being so faithful and taking the time to share your experiences with us.

Hi everyone, I bet you can't wait to get home and truly become one big happy family. I have enjoyed following your blog from day one to the very last although I have not commented I was there reading and enjoying the pictures. The boys are so cute. They will be the light of your life. I hope that once you get home you will continue the blog and keep us all here in PA updated regularly. Good Luck on your trip home. God Bless and God speed back to California.

Hey, maybe the boys will become famous Russian hockey players like Evgeni Malkin, Sergei Gonchar and Petr Sykora of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Go Pens!!!
Amazing. The boys are going to love the OC. Best wishes on the journey home. -IAL
Hi Friends,
Well, the time has almost come! You're at the final stretch. We truly felt blessed to have had the opportunity to meet you before your trip. We've enjoyed becoming friends with you and sharing our experiences with you. We're happy that you allowed us to be a part of your journey in forming your new family. Thanks for giving us such a very special privilege. We are so happy to have been a part of this monumental event in your lives. We are even more excited to be included in the journey that will begin as you arrive home.
You have done such an amazing job with the boys in such a small time. We were freaked out on the plane ride because we hardly knew our kids; we'd been with them only a few days. You've had much more time to establish a bond with the boys. God is with you always and has brought you so far; He won't let you down at this point. It's truly only a matter of hours before it's all over and you can start really living the family life.
We're praying for your safe journey home. We know that you will be extremely tired and somewhat overwhelmed when you return home. We know that you have a huge circle of support. We want you to know that we are always here for you and we will look forward to the day when we see you and the boys as a family for the very first time. Please contact us any time and remember we promised you a break so please feel free to take us up on it at any time. You can call any time you feel like it. You'll always have our love and support.
Hi Jayne, Rich, Vlady and Alex!
Your little boo is all prepped and ready for your return. When I was making the boys' beds last night he hopped up on the bottom bunk and curled up. He looked very content and happy with what is about to happen...I've been telling him. He does have his eye on those stuffed animals in there. It's only a matter of time and they'll be his! I would love to have a video camera on him when you guys get home and walk through that door.
I am going to have blog withdrawals in a few days. Life has revolved around the the latest post and pictures. I love each and every story and the pictures are amazing. I look and them and think, wow, my baby sister is a mom. It makes me cry. I was so happy for you when you met Rich and now I'm happy for you both that you have met these wonderful children. You are such great people and Vlady and Alex are the luckiest kids in the world. It was all meant to be. See what a little visit to California did!
Anyway, everything will be in order for you when you get here. If there is anything else that you'll need, besides what we've talked about, shoot me an email and I'll take care of it.
Safe travels. You'll be in our thoughts and prayers for a wonderful journey home. Bye blog, bye Vladivostok...and HELLO Clodfelter family!!
Love you,
Aunt Carol
